Description
The MagPro R30 is a high-performance TMS magnetic stimulator manufactured by MagVenture, Inc. primarily for clinical use as well as research. It is a diagnostic tool to measure motor evoked potential (MEP) and for therapeutic treatment. This TMS magnetic stimulator performs repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation and can run many complex protocols successively; up to 20,000 pulses in one session. The theta burst option can be added to run theta burst stimulation; 60 pps and 80 pps options can also be added. Allows for storage of multiple stimulator setups, external control, and heat tolerance when performing intense, focused, and repeated protocols.
MagPro R30 is intended as an electro-physiological aid to assess diagnosis and to monitor diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system, based on the use of Motor Evoked Potentials (MEP) such as Major Depressive Disorder in adult patients who have failed to achieve satisfactory improvement from two prior antidepressant medications, at or above the minimal effective dose and duration in the current episode.
